Kaupo Kant graduated from Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary in 1998. He continued his studies in Asbury Theological Seminary in USA. Besides serving Võru Methodist Church, Kaupo has also served Ruusmäe Methodist Church as a pastor and has established Viitka Methodist Church.

Kaupo is married with Thea and they have three sons. Kaupo plays clarinet and bass guitar. He is interested in foreign languages and cultures. Besides that, Kaupo likes jogging.

Kaupo and Thea Kant have been the initiators of many traditional events and initiatives involving the whole Estonian Methodist Church. For example, they were the initiators of Methodist summer conferences and Aldersgate Renewal Ministry in Estonia.
