Hans Lahi graduated from Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary in 1998. Hans started serving Sakussaare Methodist Church as a pastor in 1997. He has also served Rakvere Methodist Church in 2009-2018. Hans is married with Sirly and they have three sons, a daughter and three grandchildren.

Hans Lahi has been a participant in mission trips to Finno-Ugric peoples in Udmurtia, Tatarstan and Bashkiria, and together with folk musicians has visited Komis and Maris. Hans has been five times in Israel as a volunteer and has contributed to supporting Jews at international as well as local level.

Hans likes to work in forest and garden, spend time in nature, pick berries, collect stamps, take part in sports and physical activities (his favourites are cross country running, bike riding, swimming and volleyball), hike and travel, spend time with his family and learn Hebrew language.
